Many people question their salvation even though God wants His children to know for certain that they are safe because of His perfect provision in Jesus. Why is it important to know we are secure? If the enemy can cause us to doubt in Christ’s gift of eternal life, he can make us unproductive and unfruitful as Christians. He uses our sin, ignorance, and emotions to make us afraid of God and keep us working to stay a step ahead of His judgment.

In this sermon, Clearing up Conversion Confusion, Dr. Stanley explains how we can be absolutely secure in our relationship with Christ. He teaches that we must recognize our inability to save ourselves and realize it’s only by the grace of God, through the death of His Son on the cross, that we receive the permanent, unshakable, everlasting gift of eternity with Him in heaven.
