False teaching is slow and subtle, permeating the minds of those who are easily swayed. It can contaminate and destroy strong families and vibrant churches.

During the first century after the death of Christ, many believers wrongly interpreted the grace of God as an excuse to take up immoral lifestyles. Many followed this slippery slope to the point where they even denied that Jesus Christ was the Son of God. For this reason, Jude wrote his short but powerful epistle.
