In “The Second Coming of Christ,” Dr. Stanley reveals John’s vision of the marriage between Christ and His bride, the church. This eternal union takes place in heaven after the judgment. The marriage supper of the Lamb represents the millennial kingdom of Christ, which will take place on earth following His return. When Christ comes to earth with His angels and believers, He comes to destroy Satan, the Antichrist, the false prophet, and the kings of the earth to establish a new heaven and earth. He is not coming as a gentle Savior but as a warrior, judge, king, and as Lord. This will be a time of justice and judgment.
