Salvation is by the grace of God and that grace is appropriated by faith. And every single person is saved in this same way. Yet sometimes we mistakenly think that while it took a certain type of grace to save us, it takes a lesser type to sustain us. That after salvation, we are somehow sufficient in ourselves to live the Christian life.

In this message, Dr. Stanley discusses Scripture that discredits the false belief that while saved by grace, we must live by works. Our need for daily grace is like all of God’s most precious truths; it must be comprehended by our minds, our hearts, and our souls.

The grace of God is unchanging and unending. And we can learn to appropriate it, not by striving or claiming, but by believing and trusting in Him.
